Card and wristband concepts
How it works
Parent guidance, student independence and a shorter vendor checkout—all in one planned school-day flow.
Choose an allowance and spending limits, then review your child’s activity in the pilot account.
The proposed school experience uses a card or wristband, so a child would not need a phone at the counter.
An amount-first workflow is designed to keep the line moving, without selecting every item before checkout.
Illustrative pilot flow. Live payments, physical readers and credential use require further implementation and testing.
For parents
Student Pass brings allowances, spending rules and activity into a parent-managed pilot account. Children get room to make everyday choices with a family member involved.
Inside the pilot
These are captures from the connected Student Pass development build, run with a fictional family and simulated money. They show existing parent screens, not live payments or physical checkout.
Swipe across each screen or tap it to open a larger view.
Screens from a development pilot using fictional family records and simulated transactions. The interface may change before a school pilot.

Money skills for life
Learning about money works best when it connects to real decisions. The Student Pass pilot helps students practise planning, spending and saving with guidance from parents and schools.
Talk through what needs to last the school week.
Consider what matters before spending.
Review choices and set the next goal.
For schools
Schools can help define where the pilot works and which vendors may participate. For planning, we may ask only for aggregate student counts by form or class. A school can share the invitation with parents; interested families sign up directly and voluntarily.
Discuss a school pilot
Agree the practical rules and pilot boundaries together.
Bring school-approved sellers into the proposed flow.
Explore card and wristband concepts with approved branding.
Before any school pilot
These are planning topics for a school conversation, not claims that live payments or physical checkout are available today.
Use aggregate class sizes and the canteen flow to plan capacity. No student names or roster are needed.
The school shares the invitation. Parents decide whether to sign up directly and provide their own details.
Agree what an invited, simulated pilot can demonstrate and what must be verified before any live rollout.
Invited testers
